In-Person Babysitter’s Course – North York

Empower youth with confidence and skills to care for themselves and for other children at this Babysitters course in North York at the Real Canadian Superstore! COVID precautions will be in place. Full details will be sent by email. All participants will be required to wear a mask or face shield and caregivers must complete COVID screening questionnaire the morning of the class.

Participants Learn:

  • How to care for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and school-aged children
  • Strategies to create a safe and positive environment and prevent injuries
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle emergencies and give first aid
  • Age-appropriate activities and games
  • Communication and basic business skills

About this course:

  • 7 to 8 hours (one-day or flexible scheduling options)
  • Taught by facilitators with a first aid and teaching background
  • All participants receive Babysitter’s manual
  • Successful participants will receive Babysitter’s certificate

PLEASE BRING A DOLL OR TEDDY BEAR TO CLASS.  BRING A NUT-FREE LUNCH AND SNACKS. Children will not be permitted to leave to purchase lunch.
